    Joel Becker became President of St. Jude Medical United States Division (USD) in October 2011. He joined the company in 1993 as a Senior Associate in Corporate Development.

    Prior to his current role, Mr. Becker led USD marketing efforts, including market development, product marketing, education and training, marketing communications and fellow programs. During his tenure with St. Jude Medical, he has also held numerous leadership positions in both the Cardiovascular and Atrial Fibrillation divisions.

    In 1999, he left the company to join Myocor, Inc., a venture-backed heart failure company, as Senior Vice President with responsibilities across multiple functional areas. He rejoined St. Jude Medical in 2002.

    Mr. Becker graduated from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Business, where he earned an M.B.A., and Augustana College where he earned a B.A. in Business Administration.
