Rohan Hoare became President of the St. Jude Medical Neuromodulation Division (NMD) in October 2011. Mr. Hoare joined St. Jude Medical through its acquisition of Advanced Neuromodulation Systems (ANS) in 2005.

Previously, Mr. Hoare was Vice President of Research and Development for NMD. His responsibilities in this position included product development, clinical research, and regulatory affairs, as well as the development and launch of deep brain stimulation (DBS) and chronic migraine therapies in Europe. Mr. Hoare has also served as Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Development.

Prior to joining ANS in 2004, Mr. Hoare worked for nine years at McKinsey & Company, a management consulting firm, where he served clients in the medical device and technology sectors.

Mr. Hoare holds a B.S. in physics from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in physics from Harvard University. His academic honors include being selected as a Faculty of Science Scholar at Monash University and a Fulbright Scholar at Harvard.
