Kate began her career at St. Jude Medical in government affairs and public relations. Her typical day included compiling a daily media report for the executive management team, tracking state legislative activity, writing press releases and managing day-to-day state government affairs responsibilities.

Ready for a new challenge, Kate accepted a position with our U.S. Division to learn additional facets of the business. In addition to utilizing her public relations skill-set at the regional level, Kate is now broadening her writing and community relations skills through managing weekly communications to the sales force and supporting sales marketing initiatives.

Having mentors and coaches to provide guidance has been helpful. She credits peers and her manager with giving her great experiences that have allowed her to grow professionally. “They’ve taught me to prioritize projects and who to partner with for success.”
