    St. Jude Medical recalled devices with Silzone coating on January 21, 2000.

    This voluntary worldwide recall was for all field inventory of heart valve replacement and repair products that used Silzone coating on the sewing cuff fabric. St. Jude Medical no longer distributes products with Silzone coating.
