Pioneering Contact Force Technology: TactiCath™ Quartz Ablation Catheter

The TactiCath™ Quartz ablation catheter gives you contact for CF measuring capability and is the first catheter to provide you with recommendations for CF sensing during PVI procedures.9 Measuring CF between the catheter tip and the tissue surface can help guide you during your mapping and ablation procedures for certain treatments of atrial fibrillation.

Novel Design, Optimal Handling: FlexAbility™ Ablation Catheter

Created using physician feedback from concept to completion, the FlexAbility™ ablation catheter is intended to yield safe, effective outcomes for your patients in the treatment of typical atrial flutter.2-4 The design is also meant to provide you with the consistent performance and enhancements*12 for comfort that you need during long procedures.*12 

Designed for optimal torque13 and planarity*12, the FlexAbility ablation catheter has been shown to:

  • Have directed irrigation that optimizes cooling with flow directed to the tissue3
  • Result in potentially lower adverse events4

Clinical Evidence

Data from several studies such as TOCCATA, EFFICAS I and EFFICAS II show that CF sensing is not only safe for use in PVI but is also associated with lower rates of gap and atrial fibrillation (AF) recurrence.5,11,15 The TOCCASTAR investigational device exemption (IDE) study provided evidence supporting the safety and effectiveness of the TactiCath™ ablation catheter for the treatment of proxysmal AF.16
