INDUSTRY-LEADING CARDIAC TECHNOLOGY

We transform the treatment of cardiovascular disease with wireless telemetry and high-energy ICDs with protection against inappropriate and unnecessary shocks.

Dedicated to Exceptional Clinical Leadership

At St. Jude Medical, responsible and visionary clinical leadership helps us reduce the cost of health care, lessening the impact of epidemic disease on patients and their families. In the area of cardiac arrhythmia management, we dedicate our clinical leadership efforts to:

  • Designing and facilitating comprehensive, robust and globally relevant analysis and clinical studies
  • Reducing mortality rates and decreasing hospitalizations while improving quality of life
  • Improving product performance and eliminating inappropriate shocks

Our clinical successes allow us to offer an unparalleled portfolio of cardiac arrhythmia management products.

We are dedicated to reducing mortality rates, decreasing hospitalizations and improving quality of life.

Addressing some of the greatest challenges of cardiac rhythm management, we conducted our DAVID, DEFINITE, DINAMIT, OPTIC, and DAVID II studies to determine if products safely and effectively reduce shock risk in treating cardiac arrhythmias and mortality due to cardiac arrhythmias.

Additional studies have shown that remote monitoring can reduce mortality in pacemaker patients,3 and that our Ventricular Intrinsic Preference (VIP™) technology can reduce heart-failure related hospitalizations.4
