Neuromodulation 101—Foundations of Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS), Dorsal Root Ganglion (DRG) Stimulation and Radio Frequency (RF) Ablation

Neuromodulation 101—Foundations of Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS), Dorsal Root Ganglion (DRG) Stimulation and Radio Frequency (RF) Ablation

September 15 - 16, 2017

Boston, MA

Neuromodulation is a well-established modality that has been utilized for more than 40 years. Technological innovations and expanding clinical data are transforming this therapy and creating new standards for the evaluation and management of patients with chronic pain. Pain management fellows are invited to join us for a two-day program focused on the fundamentals of neuromodulation and radiofrequency ablation. Utilizing the lecture and the popular panel and case review format, the program is designed to allow fellows maximum opportunity to interact with key opinion leaders across a wide spectrum of foundational topics. Faculty will present the latest FDA-approved St. Jude Medical™ neuromodulation therapy solutions and evidence to support the incorporation of this treatment for optimal patient outcomes. While learning the science, each fellow will be exposed to the operational side of pain management and neuromodulation, as well as the potential continuum of care for their patient population. In addition, St. Jude Medical™ radiofrequency ablation technology and clinical applications will be presented.

Audience: Fellows engaged in pain management fellowships and involved in care of patients with chronic pain.
