Providing physicians and patients further confidence in our ongoing security control measures, we have received a Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type II report that independently validates the multiple layers of internal security controls we have in place for the Merlin.net™ Patient Care Network to protect patient data.* This report, prepared by a global auditing firm, concludes that the controls we have implemented were designed effectively and operate in accordance with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (AICPA) trust service principles of Security, Availability and Confidentiality.
The SOC 2 report, along with our existing ISO 27001 certification, reinforces our leadership in cybersecurity and our commitment to patient safety.
