Smooth navigation and device delivery
A specially developed hydrophilic coating lowers friction between the guidewire and guide catheter, as well as between the guidewire and stent delivery catheters.13 This new coating gives the system a lower guide friction and better device delivery compared to other pressure guidewires.13
Simulated clinical use shows that fractional flow reserve (FFR) measurement using PressureWire™ technology is more reliable, with an average of 2.6 times lower pressure drift per hour as compared to competitive pressure guidewires.14
