AAHFN 2016 Symposium | 84:06

In this program, “Knowing Not Guessing: New Insights Into Heart Failure Patient Management,” heart failure professionals discuss the link between PA pressure monitoring with the CardioMEMS™ HF System and HF hospitalization reductions.

Learn about the link between PA pressures and the reduction in HF hospitalizations observed in the CHAMPION trial. Participants discuss medication management protocols, as well as the differences observed in medication therapy changes between the active monitoring and blind therapy groups. A case-based approach demonstrates the real-world application of knowing—not guessing—to HF patient management.

Viewers will gain:

  • Details about medication management protocols and their impact in the CHAMPION trial
  • An understanding of how to implement PA pressure management into clinic workflows
  • Real-world case studies about how PA pressure-based medication management is being implemented
